Call to new Government to make changes National Travel Assistance Scheme

Nov 27, 2023 | News

Melanoma New Zealand is supporting a campaign to ensure that the National Travel Assistance (NTA) Scheme works better for patients and whānau we care about.
28c a kilometre for petrol and up to $100 per night for accommodation for those needing to travel for vital medical treatment isn’t enough in 2023. Neither is a paper-based system and a reimbursement model.
We are calling on the new Government to make much-needed changes to the (NTA) scheme by December 2024. Unite with us to drive change to the NTA. Read, sign and share our open letter to the incoming Minister of Health at www.letsdrivechange.org.
