How to enter
– Download the colouring sheet, designed by New Zealand-based Japanese pop artist Jun Arita
– Let your students have fun colouring it in
– Encourage your students to get creative with their answers to our sun smart question
– Don’t forget to read the Get Spotted Terms & Conditions (COMING SOON)
– Submit your entry by 5pm on Friday, 21 November 2025
Prize
Thanks to Melanoma New Zealand supporter Lidgard Shades there’s a great prize up for grabs!
First prize
– A fully installed Lidgard Shade Sail for the winner’s school, valued at approximately $20,000+GST, up to 50m2, including four galvanised steel posts. The winner can choose their colour of mesh from the range provided by Lidgard Shades.
– A visit from our Get Spotted 2025 mascot!
– A visit from Melanoma New Zealand’s Spot Check Van and Nurse Educator (for staff only).
– A colour-changing UV band for each child in the winner’s class.
Runner up
– A sun hat for each child in the runner up’s class, kindly donated by FMG.
