Melanoma New Zealand launching “Because I checked my skin campaign” to save lives

Jul 22, 2021 | Events, News

The Global Melanoma Coalition brings together melanoma patient advocacy organisations from around the world to support collaboration over melanoma awareness, patient resources, patient advocacy and access to treatments.

Thanks to support from our membership of The Global Melanoma Coalition, we will soon be launching an awareness campaign to promote conducting monthly skin self-examinations.

We want this skin check campaign to be positive and to focus on hope for what our futures may hold. Our campaign encourages people to protect ‘future you’, and preserve life’s special moments, by checking their skin every month. The campaign includes a range of initiatives, which will be promoted through our social media channels.
